I went to Phillips & Associates to file for Bankruptcy.

Their commercials included a statement from a handicapped lady who said that they had been very helpful and gave me the impression that she had gotten some sort of discount because of her handicap. I am a disabled veteran so this appealed to me. I met with someone(you've seen him in their commercials) who said he "represented" Robert Teague I was given an "amount" that I was told would pay for my bankruptcy. It took me quite a while to pay the fee, which is what you all will do even if Phillips says "no charge unless we win your case". That's not exactly true, you will have to pay for the hours that it takes to "prepare" your case for court or whatever! Phillips is running a commercial that has a handicapped man telling how helpful Phillips has been to him. There must be someone filtering how Robert Teague handles his clients.

Note! The television stations run a disclaimer about the claims that people and companies like Phillips make, do not think for a minute that they do not know what Phillips and the like are about or that their claims may be less than completely true. I guess that means that you can not trust what your local television stations say either. After all, it's all about money, my money and your money! The local Television stations no longer run a disclaimer about Phillips, just means (probably) that Phillips is paying more for their commercials!

Incidentally, I never saw that commercial again and when I went to Phillips I was not offered any "special help" for being handicapped.

If Phillips has REALLY changed, prove it to me and I'll run an apology, you shouldn't look for it anytime soon.
